Founded in May 2020, GetAced Academic Services Limited was established with the intention of solely offering tutoring services to high school students across Jamaica.
The company’s Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Velonique Bowen, recognized a need for assistance among CSEC and CAPE students across the island, due to the educational fall out caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

From this observation, coupled with Ms. Bowen’s passion for writing and tutoring, GetAced was birthed.
Despite a shift in the company’s target audience to include tertiary students and corporate organizations across the Caribbean region, its vision remains becoming the go-to writing service for students and organizations within the region and beyond.
Through a wide range of services, to include tutoring, academic writing, content writing, public speaking coaching and writing developmental workshops, GetAced strives to assist students achieve their academic best. With the inevitability of things going wrong, GetAced offers our clients a chance to get it ‘write’.
